Weekend with the fam...

We spent the weekend with my family.  Sat afternoon with my mom and her family and then Sat night and Sunday with my dad.  We had a good time and got to see my niece and nephew.  I don't have all the pics edited yet but here is what I have so far.

My sick baby

Piper has been sick for over a week now and her doctor has been monitoring her closely.  Yesterday she had a CT scan, blood work and a spinal tap.  Poor girl has veins like her mama (hard to find and roll once you find them).  She was a trooper and made it through all in mom's arms.  We ruled out menigitis and a bowel block.  All we know at this point is that she has a viral infection.

I hope she gets better soon!!!

It is tu tu much fun....

Gray had a fun sunday playing at home in her tu tu.  I would ask her where her skirt was and she would pull out each side and look at me and smile.  She is so cute!!

Life on the beach

Labor Day weekend we took a day to go down to the river and spend time on Pam and Steven's boat (Richard's mom and stepdad). Gray wasn't to sure about the beach but she enjoyed the cruise and time in the water.

It was beautiful weather and we had a good time.

1. The clothing outfit you remember from childhood and why?
I would have to say that I remember all of my spandex shorts my mom made me. They went along with my boxed permed hair.

2. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A doctor. I have always loved helping people. The other one was a Marine Biologist

3. What is your must have for Fall?
Apple Pie!! My mom makes the best apple pie

4. If money were no object, how many kiddos would you really have?
3 to 4

5. The best part of your birthing story (other than the beautiful child at the end).
I would have to say with Gray I had my best friend there and that was so special to me!
